Several basic detecting deception indicators will be introduced and real-world examples will be reviewed. This course is the prerequisite to Detecting Deception - Level II. Interviewing is an essential and regular task of investigators. A must have skill to be successful as an investigator. The Intro to Interviewing & Detecting Deception is a prerequisite to this course. Learn the skills demonstrated on national television and know how to evaluate a persons truthfulness. There will be numerous real-world examples of this fascinating topic. Introduction to Interviewing and Detecting Deception as well as Detecting Deception II are prerequisites to this course. An actual witness or subject interview will be conducted by the participants when available. This course will include a police detective who will review interrogation techniques in obtaining a confession.
