Will STG courses certify me to become a Private Investigator?
Our courses are designed to develop the core skills and education needed for those seeking a career in private investigations. PI licensing is regulated by each state. A list of requirements can be found at:

Where are the courses taught?
STG's main training facility is in Columbus, Ohio but arrangements can be made for interest in other cities and states where we operate if the participation is sufficient.
How do I gain experience once I have taken a course?
New investigators can pursue their own license if they meet state requirements or seek a current licensed private invesetigator to register you under their license to perform PI work under their direct supervision.
What STG courses should I take?
We highly recommend the Basic Private Investigation Certificate Series. This is a comprehensive series of core investigation fundamental topics that will quickly prepare the participant for a career in Private Investigation.
